To have a dog or to not have a dog? That is the question.

They change what you can do and for how long you can go but totally worth !

My wife and I have talked about getting a dog but have decided against it. Part of that is pets bring responsibilities and we have enjoyed our freedom since the kids have grown up. Another is pertaining to traveling. When we have owned dogs in the past we would kennel them when we went camping due to trail restrictions and rules about leaving them unattended. We would be under those same restrictions again and we don't feel regular longer term kenneling is good for the dog.
