Toilet paper holder

Has anyone found a good place to mount the subject part? The one that came with our 380 is chrome and my wife got a Delta one that is brushed stainless and says it matches the faucet. She wants it on the wall on the hall side. Is this where most have mounted it?

That is also what we did. Only thing is, I wrap it in a towel while traveling so that it doesn't become a missile if the travels get a little rocky. We had two tissue holders in our trailer, but were afraid if we installed it on the hall side of the room, it could interfere with the operation of the sliding door.
