Well we have been camping with our 22mle for the last 3 years and it’s time to upgrade to a bigger rig. We need the room but also want to haul my motorcycle. Unfortunately when we built the RV cover, we only built to fit the 22mle. Not worried about the length but we are limited to 12’ in height. I have reached out to the Cover manufacturer but have not heard back. I doubt I can get the roof raised. It’s actually just the cross beam that is at 12’. The peak is at 14’. Maybe a mod to get the AC units under the center……?

Anyway, any recommendations on a toy hauler rig under 12’ tall? I am exploring Logan Coach but are there others out there? Tow vehicle is a 24 Ram 3500 SRW diesel.

Thank you!,,,

Check with a house mover, they may be able to lift your building, then you can build a pony wall under it to raise the height.

If it’s a metal cover, friend of mine went from a travel trailer to a fifth wheel and bought the extensions from the company and raised his.

Thanks for the reply. I will be calling my cover manufacturer Monday. Still looking for a good toy hauler, assuming I can get the cover raided a couple of feet. GD's are certainly on the list.

If you haven't, take your truck through a CAT scale fully fueled and loaded up for a trip without the trailer and find out what your true payload is. Use that number to find out which toy hauler will work with your truck, and work from there.

Well manufacturer said they are not in the business of offering a kit to raise the roof. Oh well, I have an idea and need to check with a welder I know.
