Very common problem, especially if you have the Thomas Payne piece of junk. Generally starts happening about a year into ownership.
We got something like that. It's not as easy as you think. And the size didn't fit the seats, causing an edge and a small pieces we had to match up. So there were "seams" that wound up separating when we sat on them.
Welcome to the cheap seats that Grand Design used in those 2022 models...I have had two 2021 models and had the same problem. I concluded that the only solution is to replace the whole seating if you want it to look nice. If you don't care, get an upholstery shop make you a patch.
We purchased a Kathy Ireland 58 inch from CW, (original was 63 inches like yours) theater seat unit. It is comfortable but you lose the console drink holders, lighting, heating and massage. As things happen to me, I later learned that Lippert will credit 25-50% toward a new unit. Payne changed the composition of the material and is now guaranteed 5 years and other manufacturers have followed this warranty. I wish I had known this B4 buying a full priced new one which is not as comfortable as what we had.
I have a 2018 Reflection 29RLS bought new in 2019 less than 1 year Thomas Payne Theater seating started pealing Dealer turned in to GD they said over 1 year old ,true to a point was new bought in 2019, talked to Thomas Payne no deal ,I am ready to start something [5th wheel is now 6 years old don't think it matters Thomas Payne made a bunch of crap and everybody suffers ,note ours was always under cover and seats were covered . Will try to call Thomas Payne 1 more time than will see about pulling the trigger on this . There is way to many doing this post after post time we step up
