Transcend tv

Is there a manual way to turn on the tv? The light is on at the bottom but
Tv will not come on. Changed batteries in remote but that did not help.

Sometimes it takes some gyrations of the remote to get it to work. Ours got very stubborn so I had to take it apart and clean up the lens, and sensor. We've had no issues since then. But, honestly, it's a pretty silly place to put a remote sensor: facing down towards the floor.
