I have just purchased a new Transcend xplor 321bh. I had a 2019 imagine xls 23bhe. I had to go larger because I now have 4 kids instead of 2. My problem is all of the issues with the transcend vs the imagine. I don’t know if the quality has gone down that much over the years for Grand Design or if the lower transcend xplor level is built that much cheaper. We have had 1 trip and the slide out window leaks, one of the couches electronics do what ever they want whenever it wants, the floor is coming unglued and bubbling, my left front jack will not work, it is bending forward and will not support anything, and the sliding bathroom door when closed has about a 1 1/2 inch gap for the top half of the door, the bottom touches the wall. And the floor by the door is already more of a yellow, no longer grey like the rest of the floor. We have mats at the entrance and don’t wear our shoes inside. I’m sorry this is long but it is a lot gone wrong in one trip. The imagine never had issues. We were looking to keep this 2 or 3 years then go to a large Momentum and go full time. However if this is Grand Designs new standards I will step up to the new Brinkley we were checking out at the RV show. Please help me know if this is just because it is a lower level of Grand Design or if the standards are dropping. I did notice a lot of Grand Designs in the repair shop when buying this one which was concerning. I’m sorry I also forgot to mention I had to buy all new tires because the factory tires were junk with horrible reviews.

While I can't address windows leaking or the couch electronics (sounds like a supplier issue), the flooring is not glued down. It is stapled at edges, but not glued across the entire floor. No rv is. It is to prevent splitting in extreme temps.

Are you sure your front jack didn't get bent by trying to "level" with it instead of just stabilizing?

The sliding doors are on adjustable rollers. If nothing has loosened as far as the hard mounts, the rollers are adjustable.

Are your mats rubber backed? The rubber backing in some mats will discolor the flooring. I've seem it in hundreds of units.

You will also see mainly GD products on our lot for service as well since 85% of what we sell new is GD products. Math....

That is good to know about the floors. And the mats are not rubber backed for that reason. The jack was not cranked hard. I usually let them hit the supports blocks and then just put some pressure to stabilize. It is probably just a faulty jack. I do realize things happen, I am a tech for GM so I get stuff happens. It just seems like a lot for the 1st trip and considering the last one I owned from GD had no issues at all. Maybe I just got spoiled with that one.
