We will be traveling to Ft Sam Houston RV park in San Antonio coming from Blanco State Park about an hour north. The park staff instructed me to enter the base off of Harry Wurzbach Hwy to Winans Rd. Tripwizard doesn’t like routing that way do to low overhead at Wurzbach and Austin Hwy. The clearances are marked 13’8” and 13’10” We have a 337RLS that I measure the height at 13’6” with dual a/c’s which makes me a little nervous. I do have my height setting in Tripwizard at 14’ for my comfort. Does anyone have experience traveling that route with a similar height rv or did you use a different route to avoid the area?

Thanks for your advice.

That's the way we go in all the time in our Solitude 390. Never an issues ever.
We don't use the RV trip wizard so I can't offer any answers there but we clear all the overheads on the way in from 410 and 35

I grew up in SAT and am very familiar with those roads. In fact, our favorite restaurant is across the street from Ft. Sam. If I was hauling from Blanco to Ft. Sam, I’d go 281 South; then left going east bound on Loop 410. Right before you hit the Loop 410/ I-35 interchange, you go right on Austin Hwy (Loop 368). Then, I’d take Austin Hwy (Loop 368) to go over the low “offending” overpass at Harry Wurzbach, turn left to rejoin Harry Wurzbach at the HEB/Lowes intersection. Ft. Sam is just a few miles south of Austin Hwy. FYI, “Kim Tran Restaurant” if your into Viet/China food. On Ritiman Rd

That intersection at Harry Wurzbach and Austin Hwy has been reconfigured and the bridge is now 16'3 heading toward Ft. Sam. Should be no issue.
