Tri fold sofa storage space?

Hi Folks

It will be a bit before I swing by a dealer to get my own answer.

Several videos I have seen promote there is the ability to store bedding under the tri fold sofa. Does anyone happen to have the ability to measure this? I have intention to store a hard cases item there and not soft bedding.

I can go out and measure it for you later this week. But the height under is surprising short. One of the trifold section folds underneath the bench seat, so that cushion takes up a bunch of room. I tried to fit a standard case of water in the storage area but it was too tall for the couch to be folded back up with the water in there.

You do have 4 inches of clearance under the tri-fold sofa.

The actual space is closer to 6 inches +/-.

The dimensions of the trifold storage area in my 2021 Grand Design Reflection 315RLTS are approximately 56" X 19 3/4" X 6" (when the couch is closed up in the normal sitting position). I took pictures with my iphone, but I can't easily get them posted/loaded because this forum does not accept JFIF images, which is how much iPhone stores them. Sorry.
