Truck repair shops near Lake Tahoe

On the recent pull from Crater Lake to Lassen Volcanic National Park, I believe my U-joints are acting like they need to be replaced. We will be heading to Lake Tahoe in the near future, and I am looking for opinions on quality repair shops in that area. The truck is a 2008 Dodge 3500, diesel.

Any idea if they will work on a deleted truck? I've heard rumors that some dealers will not work on deleted trucks.
