TV help - what did I miss?

Arrived at the KOA at Ruffs Dale PA. Got everything setup. Went to hook up the cable TV and nothing. Tried a second RG6 cable with negative results. Put the antenna up and turned the signal booster back on and things work fine both in the living room and in the bedroom. Switched everything back to "cable" mode including turning off the antenna signal booster and nada. Did I miss something? Is there and easy way to check the connection in the hook-up area to the interior of the unit?

I'm almost afraid to respond. Yes there is an easy way to check the connections. Connect RG6 cables to both connectors (outside and inside) with one RG6 cable being long enough to reach the end of the other. Using an Ohm meter, check for continuity on the center wire to center wire.
Reason I'm hesitant to respond ..... I had the same issue with satellite hookup. Did the continuity check and everything looked good, but still no reception. Eventually changed the inside RG6 cable and like magic .... everything worked. I'm still scratching my head on that one.
