Two issues regarding my LiFePO4 battery swap

When it is in bulk charging, it will also have another red LED glowing along with the blue or green one. If after you deplete it, you don’t get the red light after plugging it back in it probably won’t detect lithium. Usually not going into bulk is because you have too much voltage drop from your converter to battery so your converter thinks your battery voltage is higher than it really is. Is your battery right beside your converter? Here is a picture of my firmware sticker for reference.

Nope - my battery is stored in the battery box on the trailer tongue.

A more accurate question is how long are the wires from your converter to your battery and what gauge are they?

voltage across the wires is to low to have significant wattage heat to the wires.
What? It's the current that will burn up a wire. I've seen 12v cars burn to the ground because of the current.

I would not willy nilly just throw in a larger breaker without checking the wiring involved. It would be like replacing the 15A breaker in your home to a 20A breaker. Sure, it would work, but the wiring is not rated to 20A and therefore problem might occur.

Doubling the breaker is really poor advice and if for some reason the wiring burned and caused your trailer to burn down, the lawyer would love to see that email.

Advice like this is why I don't trust anyone, including the so called 'professionals'.

It’s obviously possible but I’ve never seen smaller than 10 AWG between an RV battery and converter.

So easy to check.

With the years of diagnosing auto electrical systems, I learned a long time ago, assume nothing. I used to tell my techs that I do not pay you to think. I pay you to know.

Latest update from WFCO:

Since your unit does not have a firmware sticker that means the unit has v1.17 which is the least ideal firmware to have as it does not work with many installs. We can get your unit into us to flash the new firmware on it and then as an optional thing we can also install a lithium jumper that will force the unit into lithium charge mode; meaning it will become a lithium-only charger at that point.

So, I will be shipping my converter back under warranty and have the firmware updated along with the Lithium jumper installed. Hopefully, that will take care of all my issues, and perhaps this thread will be helpful to any others who have this problem. Again, thanks for everyone's help!
