I'm looking to upgrade from the factory lippert pin box to a Morryde rubber pin box as I've heard good things. It looks like I have 2 different options to choose from that fit. My GVWR is 13,995lb. So it is right on the edge of max weight for one option or just light for the other option. The morryde options for my rig show one box model: RPB72-1621HD-04 that is rated for 11,500lb - 14,000lb and another model, RPB72-1621HD-05 that is rated from 14,000lb - 18,000lb. Both will fit and work, just wondering if I should go with the lighter weight or heavier one?
If anyone has a 337RLS with a morryde pin box that has any insight for me, that would be greatly appreciated!

You should call MorRyde and discuss this with them. Then they are on the hook if you get the wrong rubber spring rating.

They said I needed a #4 . I ended up needing a #5 - their cost, not mine. My rig weighs in around 14.5 to 15K, pine weight of about 3300 lbs.

btw... welcome to the forum!

and- fwiw.... I now have a Reese Gooseneck.

Yo didn't mention what you have now, but chances are you will like the MorRyde better.

We went with the RPB72-1621HD-04. We have liked it and if I had it to do over I would still purchase it. I can't see us at max cargo load so the -4 has served us well. Install was easy with the help of DW.

I can't advise you on the weight rating for the MORryde for the Reflection 337. What I can tell you is that swapping out the solid pin box on our 337 for a dampened pin box (we went with the Demco Glide Ride at the time) made a world of difference. Our Solitude came with the MORryde pin box and we are equally happy with that.

Thanks! I did end up calling morryde this afternoon. The answer I got was pretty much to just stay within the GVWR. I'll likely go with the #4 since my GVWR is 13,995lb and I don't intend to overload it. I might wait to buy one until spring thaw up here so I can go scale it out once I get it loaded up and find out exactly what kind of weight I'm looking at.
I appreciate the advice. Right now it's got the factory supplied pin box - a lippert 1621HD

Before you do so there are 2 Lippert videos on You Tube you should watch about changing out the pin box and how many times its responsible for frame flex causing the "house" to seperate from the frame. Also, depending on the make / model of the change, if you still are under warranty, some makes and models are approved, others are not and will void the warranty.

When upgrading to a Morryde rubber pin box for your 13,995lb GVWR rig, you should consider the RPB72-1621HD-05 model, which is rated for 14,000lb - 18,000lb. This option ensures that your pin box can handle the maximum weight comfortably, providing better performance and durability. It's like choosing custom retail packaging boxes that fit your product perfectly, ensuring safety and reliability.
