Using a Dyson vacuum on vinyl flooring.

FYI, use caution if you use a residential Dyson vacuum cleaner on the vinyl flooring. I used my Dyson DC18 Animal on it and the beater bar rubbed three marks in the floor due to the suction power pulling the vinyl to close to the beater bar while it was spinning.

Just wanted to put this warning out there. Luckily after I dirtied up the three spots with some grease it just looks like knots in the wood. Nobody else notices it, but I know it's there.

Ugh! Good to know. We have a Battery Operated Stick that we use. It has a beater brush, but so far no issues. I'll see if there is a way to turn it off. Thanks for the info!

That is good to know. I'm definitely looking for a new vac or vac system. I'll watch out for the beater brushes.
I finally saw pics of the central vac system in the Momentum...I'm very jealous!
