The day we brought our 323 home, 8/16, we ran the LR slide out, something cut the vinyl floor. We found the problem and fixed it (a screw sticking too far down)., but now we have a spot in the vinyl. It's kinda like a dashed line, cut, scratch, cut, scratch, cut...about 3" long. I'm just wondering if it is worth having it fixed. Anyone had a repair done that looks good? I would rather not have a patch job be the center of attention esp since it is between the dinette and island.

I'll let you know...I'm having mine patched for some damage while at the rally. If the repair tech is skilled, I don't think you'll ever see it.

This is just something to put in the back of your mind. If years down the road, you need to make a small repair and you can no longer match today's flooring, you can harvest some flooring material from behind the panel under the basement. There's quite a bit of excess which you can use there.

I had damage to my floor, which was repaired by my dealership...can't tell it was repaired.

Not a trailer repair but years ago I had my new vinyl flooring repaired in my home. It was in the hallway in front of the kitchen. With three young kids and a dog you can say a busy area. Never saw a thing in the few years I lived there. You really had to look for the repair up close.

Update on patching the floor...

The lino was patched at the GD service center....did a fabulous job. You wouldn't be able to see it even if I pointed out where it was done!
