Wall mount kitchen table

Has anyone removed the center pedestal table and installed a wall mount?
I'm tired of hitting my knees and stumbling over the feet.

Watching this thread. My wife hates the pedistal table. Always wondered if converting to a wall mount was possible.

In just last month getting an apartment for a kinda home base, i looked up all kinds of wall mount, non leg tables, nightstands, entertainment centers, and end tables.
Clean look easy for a robotic vacuum to do its thing.

Do a online Walmart store search for legless tables and or wall mount stuff.
There is some cool stuff out there.
I try and choose wally world because if one doesnt like it, they can just box it back up and drop it off and they ship it, it goes right back on your credit card.

They aren’t difficult. But finding good anchor points is a challenge.

I can figure out the mount.....your right....anchor points are what will be tricky.

As mentioned, a place to mount it is the problem. The models that come with wall-mounted tables have sturdy backing plates built into the walls during the manufacturing process. I suppose you could finish a large piece of plywood nicely, find the aluminum studs in the wall to screw it to (be careful of the screw length), and mount the table to the plywood.

I can fabricate a pair of table brackets...not sure all this is worth it.....but, wife says she wants it soooooo..... ;-)

A stud finder works in a camper same as a home.

There are expanding rivets that will expand 3 or 4 ways, to be more of an anchor than the normal rivet. If the studs are aluminum vs wood.

I was looking for something one day and came across the expanding rivets. What an invention, its almost as good as being able to get a washer in there with a rivet, but one cant get a washer behind some places to give more divided anchoring support.
