Hello! I just read an article about nanoplastics in bottled water prompting me to look into a better water filtration system. We currently have a Clear Choice inline system.

Any suggestions? I’m mainly interested in my drinking water not entire RV water filtration.
We have a 2021 Reflection 320Mks. Full time RV’ers.
Thanks!

We use a triple filter, external on a pvc pipe stand. Filtering the whole trailer may seem not necessary but if you're using hard water often it will help save your water heater

I installed a two cartridge system for all incoming water. For drinking water, I put a .2 micron filter on the cold water line at the kitchen sink. We then fill a Brita pitcher with that. I went with BluTech because it is small and it had the smallest micron I could find in a filter system like that.

Take a look at Blu Tech. They are a great company and have multiple options for your use.

Then there is my solution..... After trashing a water heater with bad water in the SE I decided to use a whole RV system. It works well for me and we don't have to carry water or one of the rather large Berkey's or gallon jugs or even water bottles. Just have to lug around a water softener and filter system instead.:oops:

I keep it simple but effective.
First a cheap inline Camco filter at the tap followed by a similar designed inline filter that filters down to one micron. This cleans up the water going into the fresh tank. Then we use a Berkey for our drinking water. So essentially we triple filter our drinking water but in a simple, affordable manner.
We've been full-time the last three years and never had a problem using this set up. The inline filters get replaced every three to four months (longer for the first one, shorter for the second one).

I installed an Rainfresh UCS2 system under the sink. Hook your trailer up to untreated systems and you will still be fine. Below is a Canadian link but I'm sure there are American stores that carry it.

It is a counter top water filter / storage system.... See it here....

Also check out YouTube. For some reason they seem to quite popular with the folks posting must have things in and RV.

No doubt the water must taste good to dedicate space for that large container.
To each their own I guess. Looks inconvenient..... And rather expensive.
I prefer using a tap to a water jug.
