This morning while dumping the tanks I noticed a leak dripping from the top of the basement door on the nautilus side of our 2022 337 RLS. After a process of elimination I discovered a leak behind the shower handles. Replacing the shower controls should be somewhat easy and we have wanted a new shower head anyway.
Questions:
In the attached picture, what is the thing to the left of the cold water hose with the arrow pointing to it.

Any ideas on a replacement shower head.

Would you replace the plastic 90 degree fitting with brass

It's the vacuum breaker, most likely for the black tank flush. I wouldn't replace any fittings that weren't leaking. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. :)

I live by the phrase but I was wondering what it was.
Actually that vacuum breaker falls under the "Fix it before it breaks" heading. :) You can get solid metal ones the won't break, I replace a broken one on our previous trailer. If mine was that easy to get to, I would replace it, or at least have a replacement on hand for when/if it fails.

I agree. Vacuum breaker. Besides “don’t fix it if it ain’t broke” I also follow the KISS principle.

This is an RV Forum right?

Everything in an RV is built poorly and if I am in the area, I will make everything right before it breaks. My motto is everything is junk that needs to be properly installed/built. Does that mean I spend too much time fixing things that are not broken? Yup. But I do know that it will be hard to believe I got a water leak behind my Nautilus panel.
