I have a 2019 Grand Design Solitude ST373fb-R
and I have sprung a leak in the front cupboard. First time it just flooded the compartment. I wiped it out and and didn't have any leaks for 2 months. Then the compartment would flood again, then it became a recurring problem. My repair person looked and the plastic water control in the shower had crack in the plastic piece which holds the handles so we replaced the plastic and used silicone on it to make sure it held. Than solution worked for 2 days and the flooding came back. the next thing we did was to remove the walls so we could see what was going on. No leaks showed up. I made sure the black and grey tanks did not fill up to the max every time I washed clothes I'd go out and look for the leak no luck..it appears to leak on its own schedule I have looked while the washer has been going and nothing. the other strange thing was I found water in the water control closet same time the the flooding but not all the time. the other thing I have noticed was my black tank fills with water even though we use the 1/2 bath in the front I have shut off the black hose feed and it stills to fill up. One last thing the flooding doesn't smell so i feel it must be s fresh water connection?

thanks

John

Sounds pretty frustrating. Could you post some pictures? That might help a fellow Solitude owner share some ideas.

It’s gotta be one of the washer water lines.

It looks like I now know what caused the leak, I had both black and grey tanks flushed and company owner of the flushing service asked why was the cupboard all torn apart (the walls removed and nothing it, I have everything outside in tubs. I explained to him what was happening and he asked if i had a clothes washer and if i left the grey tank open when washing clothes... I told him I don't and i dump the grey when it gets high he then commented when the washer goes into the spin cycle it empties the washer with lots of pressure and could be causing the problem..... It's been 2 weeks and I now leave the grey open all the time and so far no leaks, Well one down and now I have to figure out the fresh water in the black tanks. The gasket on the toilet is in good shape, so i can eliminate that theory. I hope my post helps others with water in the cupboard

I'll keep you posted on the second problem.... FYI our Grand Design is permanently located in Aguanga Ca and is our winter home and we love it. We have a class A to travel in during most of the year it gets to be 100+ in Aguanga during the summer time. so we head north to escape the heat.
