Hi guys.

Hoping somebody here can help me. I inherited a 2021 grand design reflection 150 and honestly I haven’t been inside it for about a year - it sits in a RV park.

I noticed water pooled on the left side night stand of the master bed - see photo.

The water was pooled on top of the table and the carpet below was a little wet. It rained heavily the day before.

Does anybody have any idea at all where this would be coming from? I tried to feel around the walls, cabinets, etc to see if I could feel anything damp or any water lines but I couldn’t find anything at all. It was like somebody dumped a cup of water on the night stand lol.

I know absolutely nothing about RV’s as I inherited this. Hoping somebody can give me some tips on what to look for, the trailer is basically new outside of this issue.

Trailer was winterized so none of the water was on etc.

Likely a roof leak from the front cap

Has it ever been checked? The roof that is?
If you can’t I would call a mobile tech or a friendly neighbour to look because if left it could cause major damage if not already has

Good luck

Thank you so much for the quick reply!
It hasn’t ever been checked. I’ve owned it for about three years now, but didn’t use it last season.

It’s only about a 30 minute drive from my house so I could pop over there and take a look.
If I jumped on the roof, would it be obvious? Can you give me any tips on what to look for or what to check?

Cracks in the sealant. Roof needs check every 3 months. Sun and weather will deteriorate sealant

Be careful up there. The front is rounded and high up

Would you recommend I just bring a tube of sealant, look for any cracks and fill them?

Definitely if you use the correct stuff

Either Alpha or Dicor self leveling sealant generally will work
Little Update here.

Ended up getting on the roof and on both the left and right side the gutters were plugged at the end. I also noticed the seal right beside the end of the gutter ( this is the front cap I think ) the seal was pretty deteriorated.

Is it safe to say this is likely where it was leaking from? I will attach a photo of where I replaced the sealant, I did reseal it and will be back to the trailer in a few days to check but I think it’s likely this right?

First pic is where the leak was… left side corner. I didn’t take a pic before ripping the old sealant off, but I attached a photo of the right side roof. The seal on that side looks pretty shitty but wasn’t as bad as the left side where the water leak is.

Thanks for your help again - I’m not a gambling person but if I was, I’d bet this fixed it

I don’t ever remove the old sealant. I just cover over top of the old
ah **** okay. I did some googling and it all said to pull the old sealant off and clean it good.

I put a ton of sealant so hoping for the best.

You think this is likely where the water was getting in? It seems to be almost directly above where the water was coming in.

Figured out the water was coming from the panel that the light is mounted to.

Impossible to say. Hopefully so
I would get a couple of more tubes of self leveling sealant and do the rest of your roof

I am sure removing the old is preferred on the interwebs but I have never done it
Maybe others would disagree with this but I just gob more over top

I don’t worry what it looks like

If I was to buy a used trailer I would prefer to see lots of evidence of added sealant
It shows that someone was doing some maintenance

Good luck

I will update the thread with results in a few days

As an option, you can use Everbond tape. Clean the area, and put it over it, problem solved. On the front cap of my last trailer I used it and when I sold it 5 years later, it was still looking great. I keep a roll in the trailer as an emergency fix for any rips on the roof.

Eternabond Not to correct but just in case OP wants to look it up
