Hey, I had my city water connection leak and it got into the under belly on the plastic membrane is there anything I need to do to help it dry or will it dry on its own, I fixed the leak already.

Welcome to the forum. If it were me, I'd try to get as much water out as possible. Then it should dry on its own.

Depending on how much water you're talking about, I would recommend dropping part of the underbelly and pointing a good, powerful fan up in there for a couple of days. If you don't get it dried out well, there's a risk of mold forming.

When we had water intrusion in the underbelly of our last trailer it got into the insulation. After I opened it up I removed and disposed of all of the wet insulation and left fans to dry the area. After it had dried out I purchased and installed new insulation.

So did yall just cut the membrane stuff and just tape it back or how did yall go about getting inside the area, sorry new to having a newer camper.

On that trailer part of the fabric was exposed and some was covered with coroplast so I dropped it. I then put a long straight cut in the middle of the fabric section between the frame and pulled out the wet insulation. To close the cuts I used gorilla tape in the area hidden by the coroplast and used a waterproof rubberized tape in the areas exposed to water. I don't remember the brand. I then sprayed a rubber sealant along the exposed tape edges. I did not use the fabric tape as a previous time I had used that it peeled off in a single season. When I replaced it I used the rubberized tape which held up until the trailer was totaled a few years later.
