I have a 2014 32' Reflection and while dry camping at Quartzite a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that sometimes the water pump wouldn't turn off. I could flip the on/ off switch a few times and it would quit but not consistently like it should. Does this sound like it should be replaced and where do I find it on my unit?
Thank you

I would do a little troubleshooting before I replaced the pump. If the pressure sensor is working properly, the pump will automatically shut off when it reaches a set pressure. If there is a leak, then it's likely to have issues with not shutting off, or running intermittently. I would assure myself I have no leaks anywhere. Sometimes the check valve can fail leading to problems with the pump not shutting off. I have no idea on location.

Thank you for the above suggestion. I have a Reflection 5th wheel 32'. I believe the model was a 323?

On your model, the water pump will be behind the basement wall on the driver's side near the water heater. The above suggestions regarind leaks (or a faucet left cracked) are good ones - and the most frequent cause of a water pump periodically cycling.

+1 on the check valve located in the pump. Had the exact same scenario a couple times. Turned my rig inside out trying to find the leak...I eventually decided it was the check valve that was at fault and the pressurized water was returning to the fresh water tank via the check valve.

The next stop I connected to city water. The final stop on the trip was back to the pump and apparently the crud that was causing the check valve to stay open had worked its way out.

I felt confident this was the problem since I opened the basement area, removed the underbelly, and inspected all topside connections to confirm there were no leaks.

Of course before I determined that, I had bought a new water pump...still sitting in the box.

Much the same way you stop the fresh water tank from inadvertently filling and overflowing while on city water...remove the city water pressure, configure valves to run on the pump, run on fresh water tank for a min or two, bleed pressure off, configure valves to run on city water. usually this flipping back and forth a couple times clears the debris on the check valve.

I have seen posts that recommend installing a separate check valve like this

but some posters indicated their overall water flow was reduced when using the water pump (so it's still sitting in the package too...LOL)

Had the same problem on my 2020 Reflection 303RLS, found the Shure Flow water pump mounted behind the wall in front compartment behind the Nautilus control panel. Got the model number off of the pump and went on Shure Flows web site and ordered a new check valve assembly, it was around $15.00 has worked fine ever since.
