Water tank empty?

Hi everyone. Now that I have solved my non draining tanks dilemma my next concern is the fresh water tank. The water seemed to have run out a little sooner than we had expected. Oh well. However, upon arrival at home, I pulled the fresh water tank release handle and I would estimate at least 10 gallons may have come out. Has anyone else experienced this? Any info is greatly appreciated.
