I know I have seen info on recommendations for which wax to use on the Reflection units but can not find the info now.
I search on wax, etc but it comes back with too many items to display.

Can someone direct me to the thread or are there recommendations on which wax to use.

Thank you

I know lots of folks use WashWaxAll, but I still prefer a good carnauba wax and hand application. I use Thetford's Premium RV Wax.

I found a waxER when I was staying at Santa Rosa RV park in FL this month....he charges $125 to wash or $325 to wash and wax, I'm retired with not much to do so I can be the waxER!
Advil is cheaper

We just had our RV washed and waxed (36' fifth wheel) in Las Cruces, NM, for under $200. They did and excellent job and use an aircraft wax because it has better UV protection (don't remember the brand).

We paid the dealer a bit extra for a special coating on the whole RV (inside and out) for 5 years of no wax protection. It's very easy to wash with the coating. Sometimes just spray it off to clean it.

I did a higher end protection for my motorcycle. It's black and was hard to keep clean, but with the Opti Coat it's a breeze to keep clean. Well worth the money.

Second Chance, was the wax called Rejex? I bought some and did the nose of the Reflection. Goes on and off easy and does really shine!

Sorry - don't know the name of the wax they used. They did say it wasn't as high-gloss as some but that they use it because of its UV protective properties.

I did that too. I hope I didn't pay a thousand bucks for a wax job. Looks like wax to me. I used NuFinish on my Passport. It did well. Gets high marks on Consumer Reports. I use it on my truck too. And will use it or Meguiars Marine on my Imagine when the time comes.

I love to detail, I do it often on the weekends for friends and family. Been detailing cars for over 25 years. As far as wax goes, I use a sealant by Wolfgang, Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. Its the best stuff I have used, goes on easy and comes off effortlessly. Leave an amazing shine that protects and last a long time. With a sealant, you can apply as often as you like without yellowing, traditional waxes yellow if layered multiple times. I usually apply once a month to both our vehicles, my 2012 Honda Accord coupe HFP and our 15 f150 lariat and hopefully soon my Imagine 2800 or 3150 TT. For weekly maintenance, I use Meguires spray wax after washes, keeps my vehicles ALWAYS looking like they have been just waxed.

As a pro detailer you should look into http://opti-coat.net/ . There is 1 detail shop that does this in Eugene, Oregon and they are so busy, they opened another shop. Word of mouth advertising only snowballed it to overwhelming.

Here is a few pics of my 2013 Victory motorcycle.

At the detail shop.

Thanks for the pics, looks awesome. I Optimum car products are great, I have some of their products in my arsenal. the polish, spray wax work great.

I was told by Grand Design not to use a Carnuba wax on my Solitude. I called Meguiar's and they told me to use Meguiar's Flagship Premium Marine Wax.
I waxed mine last fall and it still looks great after spending the last 4 months in Arizona.

Hercload, How many bottles did you need to do your Solitude. Am going to use it on my Reflection 313 and want to have enough.
Thanks

I'm fortunate to have a son that's in that business full time with a shop - but he won't take the time to do mine! However, I use his products. I use a waterless wash made by Shine Supply, and once a year, I use a foaming sprayer on my power washer with a product called Hydrofoam made by cquartz. It beads up like the motorcycle the pics. In fact, the Harley dealer in Bentonville Ar., has him booked every Thursday. If you want to see his work for kicks, look up Jasons pro detail.
