It’s time to wash & wax the exterior of my Grand Design Reflection. Can someone recommend the best products to use and the best way to apply them?

Quite a few of us use the Wash Wax All. They sell a kit with rags and a pole. But. If you have a ladder all you need are a few rags. Easy, fast, and does a pretty good job.

Wet or Waterless Car Wash Wax 128 fl. oz. Aircraft Quality for your Car, RV, Boat, Motorcycle Anywhere, Anytime, Home, Office, School, Garage, Parking Lots. https://a.co/d/2O6YAY5

+1

Have also had good luck using Meguiar’s Gold Class car wash to clean it first. It hasn’t removed the Wash Wax All finish from the previous time.

If you use the search function (top right), you'll find dozens of threads on this topic.

I washed my entire coach, roof, slides, and exterior. with Chemical Guys extreme wash and wax. Did the roof, made a fresh bucket, and did the rest with an extension pole and a large soft brush. Used an Amazon filter on the end of my rinse hose. Towel dried, except the roof, when through. Fantastic results. The whole coach glistens.

There are a million choices out there, but I've preferred to use what works well on our boat which is Star Brite Premium Marine Polish with PTEF. I also do the recommended second coat within about 30 days. It lasts long and makes the surface very slick.

The wash brush rod is very sturdy and the telescopes are ridiculously long. The scrub head is great for removing these impaled critters. The window squeegee/squeegee works better than any gas station wand I've ever used. The soft rod head is perfect for washing tops, including sunroofs, and the adjustable angle locking attachment makes it even better. The gloves are of good quality and the long brush is sufficient.
What is????????

I use Wash & Wax All twice a year using microfiber towels. Before waxing, I clean the camper using Adams soap and a soap gun. The soap gun was purchased for vehicles but works well for the camper, especially the high spots.

One neat trick is to use dryer sheets to get all the bugs off the front cap. Wet the dryer sheet and work a section at a time. I usually go through 4-5 dryer sheets on the cap. The key thing is to make sure everything is wet and doesn't start to dry. Dryer sheets have worked well for me for years on the camper cap and the front of the truck after a long trip.

Best bug remover i have found is awesome cleaner from the dollar store cheap and works awesome just like the name .

Thats good to know. Do you use Awesome with a rag? Sponge? Something non abrasive?

Use the LA Awesome as well. It also removes the black stains that appear from the roof gutter runoff. Spray and wipe away with a micro fiber towel.

Just be aware that Awesome cleaner strips wax. Any area it is used on will need to be re-waxed.

Our new Reflection is supposed to have a "ceramic" coating applied (to the tune of $2000). This is supposed to keep the trailer looking good for 10 years. I'm assuming that I will still have to wash it once in a while, and maybe wax it. We'll see what the dealer tells us tomorrow about caring for that stuff. The doctor said I'm not supposed to be climbing ladders, but those of us who are built closer to the ground sometimes need a little help to reach things that others can more easily reach.

Just finished waxing my reflection using Nu Finish, easy on easy off and last great. I wash using a soap cannon and Meguiar’s Gold Class car wash. Mequiars will not strip the was and leaves a slick finish.

I fell for that one too. I never found out what product the dealer used, but after 6 mo. it was mostly gone. A local guy offered to do another product for $600.

You might want to check out https://youtube.com/@ScottHD for tests of various ceramic coatings.

BTW he washes his test panels once a month.
