We took the tour

We went to Grand Design this past Wed and took the Reflection Plant tour. Everyone should take it if possible , especially those sitting on the wall trying to decide between a Grand Design and another make.
Our tour guide was Jerimiah (not sure of the spelling) He is very knowledgeable about the product and enthusiastic. Plus he's a pretty nice guy! The employees were all working very hard and no one looked miserable. That is nice to see because unhappy people don't normally do as well of a job.
Every thing new we learned about the construction just reinforced our decision to go with our Grand Design Reflection choice that already felt 100% the right choice. We met one of the owners briefly, but CRS is creeping in and can't remember his name at the moment.

The hardest part was seeing our trailer sitting in there just shy of being pushed out the door and not taking it home! We did get to go in it though. More excited than I was before!

Marcy you sound like us! We picked up our Solitude 368RL in the middle of December--already winterized of course!! So we brought it home and put it up! I can hardly wait for our first trip! Winter can't be over soon enough this year. Maybe it also has something to do with my finally getting to retire!
We also looked at every unit on the market for the last five years. When we walked into the GD we knew immediately it was what we wanted!

Sandi, seeing as you are a new retiree also, where is your first outing going to be? I don't think we'll be able to wait for the cold to leave.
Camp driveway may be it for now or we may just have to bear it and do some winter camping inside of the new toy. Or maybe take a little trip towards some better temps.
For now I'm taking care of the winter itch by planning a late summer/fall big tour of some of the western states. So far we're up to 44 days and I'm not done yet!!

Marcy we already have a week booked at Osprey RV in Gulf Shores , AL. We love that coast! That will be our first week trip but we are going to go for a 3 or 4 day trip maybe to the Smokies or Lake Lure. We just keep waiting for a break in the weather! We live in Lexington, KY so it is not pretty here!!! We would like to go somehwere 3 o4 hours away becuase I only have about three days tjo take before I can retire in May!
After that we hope to be on the road a lot. There is a lot I want to see and life is short!!

I live in Danville and heading South tomorrow. Glad to know that more Kentuckians are buying GD now if they would get a dealer close to Lexington the would be the best thing they good do.
