What did you do to your Grand Design today?

These are the ones I got. Unfortunately one in the set was the wrong size and I’ve sent an email to the vendor. I can’t say how they hold up but most of the one piece will tend to rust a little but easy to shine up, I think probably because they are chrome plated and not solid chrome like the capped ones are. You’ll need to determine if you have 1/2 or 9/16 studs

We have a 2024 which was the last year for this spaghetti of a mess so I spent the day replacing it with the correct PEX pipe and metal fittings. So far no leaks. 👍
This is mostly preventative maintenance but I did have one hose start to leak in December. Luckily I found it early when I did a pressure hold test. I pressurize the system and close the valve at 40 psi overnight. As long as it still has 40 in the morning I know it's good. I've been doing this test before every trip. Also got rid of the hose at the water heater.

All PEX now also to the sinks and toilet. I have a couple more yet to replace by the wet bay but I ran out of fittings.
The lines look alot better now and I also added a valve for my pint glass washer on the kitchen sink.

The other day I added this 3" vent cover. We shall see if it stops those Furrion tankless error codes after a heavy rain.

Where did you find the vent cover?

Where did you find the vent cover?
Amazon of course. I didn't get to test it yet so I'm not putting out any recommendations but it is a 3" stainless vent. I did have to modify it by cutting out the back of it so it would fit flush. I used tin snips. Sorry, no picture.

Added a breaker/disconnect between the solar panel and the charge controller. Next is to upgrade the struts on the bed platform.

Installed 8-40V input to 13.8V/10A output DCDC converter so my truck will now charge my lithium battery while connected.

Lubed the MorRyde IS.

Replaced Tireminder batteries.

Got a hitch pin tripod at a give-away price at a garage sale and a Valtera Universal Stabilizer to try out this summer.

Just need to inspect the roof one more time and we're out'a here in 4 weeks!

Looked at the pink slushy my antifreeze made in the toilet. No…I didn’t drink it.

And measured my kitchen sink drain to order a replacement of some sort. Fancy sink won’t hold water.

Also, measured the distance between pin box bolts. I had it raised after I first got it. Last trip out I made contact with the truck bed. So I was considering lowering it. Already have my B&W in the mid position. I have 6” clearance at the back and 6.5-7 towards the front of the cap. It was the front of the cap that made contact. The trim piece that runs along the bottom. I’ll probably just leave it as is. Already a bit nose high. Just a couple tiny divets in the plastic bed rails at the corners. Guess the truck is broken in now.
I will soon have almost the same set up as you. Do you know what the circumstances were that your front cap area touched the truck rails? Maybe starting up an incline? Would you raise it a little if you were starting the set up like me? Happy Camping!

I looked out my kitchen window a saw my tt said Imagine. What a great idea. My happy place is calling

How is that where comfort is concerned compared to the OEM stuff.

I like the padded arms on that one. I’ve mostly looked at swapping the recliners. We’re small people and barely fit in them.
We have both the Lambright Harrison love seat and now the sofa. For me, the love seat is too big. I'm 5' 6" and find that my feet don't touch the floor. My wife isn't any taller and is OK with the love seat. And I am not as comfortable reclined as I was with the TP original recliners. The odd thing is the sofa has the same dimensions but my feet are fine - we both find it comfy.

I think I would have been happier with some Lambright individual recliner chairs like their Relax-R Lite.

Actually it was yesterday, but i moved it to its new summer spot hear in very northern Minnesota. Needs to warm up hear though, 34f right now this morning.

Next time draining the hot water tank for winterizing for traveling north to the cold, ill rinse it out before travels, as seen in the pic, it seems to have put tank crap on the siding after leaving the campground.

Soon to do list is replace 2 outlets and some touch up frame painting, and wash n wax.
