Hi All,

We are out for our 8th weekend with our new Solitude 369RL. Different campground nearly every weekend. We are still looking for another Solitude or Momentum. We have seen 4 Reflections but have not seen any of the owners. It seems the GD coaches are just to comfortable inside to spend time outside.

Two weekends ago we spotted 2 Reflections at the campground but the owners appeared to leave early and return late so we missed them over the weekend. All the Reflections appeared to be weekenders too.

We are fairly certain that the opportunity to see and meet other GD coaches and owners might happen at the Rally! ;)

In the meantime, the hunt continues for the elusive Solitudes, Momentums plus Reflection owners. Minnesota has 3 GD dealers that I am aware of today so we expected to see an occasional Solitude or Momentum.

Cheers,

Hey retirement short timers, I know how you feel. We go out once a month and also see a few Grand Design trailers with the same results. We did get to talk to one Momentum owner a few months ago, who by the way loved their trailer.
I don't think we'll be crossing paths with you soon, we live in California, and I still have to work for a couple more years. But i'm with you, where are they at?

About three weeks ago we were at Anchor Down in Dandridge, TN. There were solitudes and Mime tums everywhere and I couldn't believe how many were around us. I found out they were having a rally which explained why we saw so many Grand Design trailers. Of course now it's got me wanting a new Momentum toy hauler after looking at so many Momentums and talking to the owners.

We are just getting ready to leave West Yellowstone tomorrow morning, and from MI to here we have seen 3 solitudes, 1 Momentum in a
cg and 1 Reflection who was sitting in a traffic jam here. I was at a light so yelled out the window at them that they had great taste in trailers and it looked like mine....anyone here??

This weekend (4th of July) campground was full, zero other Grand Designs. Met a couple with a Jayco, they said I was the third Grand Design they've seen lately. I guess there is enough of us that other people are noticing, just haven't seen a lot of us myself (maybe ten in 14 + months) except of course @ Anchor Down!

We camped at the Castle Rock State Park in WI for the 4th, there was one other Solitude there, they are seasonal.

we were at Ocean Shores Washington over the forth in our 369RL just down the road from us was what I believe to be a 368RD Solitude never had a chance to stop in and say hi and when I did they were not there

ClosetoRetirement...my husband & I just purchased a 2015 Solitude 375RE in April with retirement in mind. We've taken some short trips and will be going to the Rally in August in Elkhart, IN. We've seen a few Solitude's around here (Southwest Michigan) but most likely because we're only about 45 minutes from Grand Design. Hopefully we can meet up with you at the Rally!

Was at American Heritage in Williamsburg for 4th week-end. On I-64 Eastbound saw a Reflection TT coming into Virginia Beach, and at campground saw one Reflection 337 and a new Solitude (2016 model year). Those folks got locked out had to call locksmith to let them back in. Dead bolt issue. Cost $160. Told them to contact GD, they would make it right. This was their second trip out and they were still delighted with their Solitude.

Yelled "nice RV" to an owner of a Solitude over the 4th weekend. We were on our way out. I think 5th wheel owners tend to be out and about more. We, for example, use it as our home while traveling and seeing the country. We do occasionally do the "camping" thing too--grill, sit by the fire, and have a few. Great to have both worlds in an RV.

At this point in my video (https://youtu.be/zr800M4I6MQ?t=1m44s), you can see the Solitude on the right with the white truck in front. Any of you guys at Maumelle Park, Arkansas this weekend?

Brent

There's been a Reflection at the KOA in Salt Lake City for the last couple of days but I haven't seen anyone around it when I've been there.

We have been at the same campground for a week and the Reflection that was here when we arrive departed yesterday. We walk our dogs 3 time/day and not once did we see the owners. Another Reflection dropped in last Sunday for an overnight and we were lucky to catch them setting up. They have the 29RS and love the floorplan but are very frustrated with the issues they are having.

Yet another Reflection arrived this afternoon for the weekend and we will watch for the opportunity to make contact while walking the dogs.

...and the hunt continues for a Solitude or Momentum.

Camp on!!

Cheers,

Hi John,

We are pulling our Solitude 369RL with a F350 (check the signature line). Easy job for the F350 and still within the combined weight rating and the truck ratings.

Cheers,

We're pulling our 375RE with an F350 as well.

This morning we pulled out from the campground after 8 days and had zero issues with the new Solitude on her maiden voyage. We do have two slides that don't snug up properly when closed, so we'll talk to our dealer about it next week.

We are at a seasonal site and the only GD RV in the park. A bumper crop of new RVs made it in this year but nearly all Keystone products. More Cougars, Montannas and Mountaineers than you can shake a stick at. Maybe next year will yield more GD products. Since the season started we have had a constant flow of people wanting to see a GD product because they never heard of it. We get a lot of ooohs and ahhhs just because its very different on the outside then even more when they see the inside. There are two constant remarks we get. Everyone loves the large pantry ( The one point that won the wifey over ) and everyone was surprised when they opened the door at the rear of the coach thinking it was another closet and found a bunk house instead.

We left on our summer road trip a couple of months and 5,000+ miles ago. We saw our first Momentum ever today on I25. It was heading north bound and we were heading south from Albuquerque. We saw tons of Reflections and Solitudes on our journeys, and met several owners. In fact, I found one owner and showed him that he had the wrong axles installed on his rig. We just received an email that he has an appt. at the factory to get it resolved.

Yesterday I saw a white Ford F250 pulling a Reflection....East Bound on I80 from Truckee heading towards Reno...nice set up!

We were in Texas over the 4th of July weekend. We stayed at EastLake RV Resort. The DW and I saw, 1 - Momentum 350M, 1 - Momentum 355, 380, 385 (not sure which one it was), several reflections at the same campground. We didn't do anything in the park as we had family 15 min from the resort so we spent the time at their house. I also saw one Solitude on I-10 when we were heading back to Louisiana.
