I have most of this planned and reserved. Need to fill in a few details. Can't make Canadian Provincial Park reservations until mid January..... This travel occurs between mid April and the end of September.

Haven't finalized where we are going in 2025. Maybe reschedule our Michigan UP and Canada excursion up north around Lake Superior again

That looks like an awesome trip LARRY!
We haven't planned anything yet. Gary has Carpal Tunnel surgery in late May/eary June so his hand will be useless for a bit while it heals. The only thing that is a definate is a week in Savannah , GA in early May and in mid June my annual WoodCarvers Round up in Evart , MI. Once we get caught up on Dr visits upon our return from wintering in FL. I'd love to get back up to the Western U P and feed my rock hunting addiction and need to be near Lk Superior Then maybe late summer take a short road trip to who knows where before heading back South in Oct

That's it?....lol
I see once you get somewhat close to me in Thunder Bay there is a red 'M'. What's that mean?
If you are looking for a decent place just south of the Twin Cities, there is a place called Lebanon Hills in Eagan that I've stayed at frequently. Full hook ups, decent price. It's urban but surrounded by trees.

From the snows of Colorado to Tucson & Palm Springs Jan13 to Mar2 solo. Back home for a month to celebrate 50th anniversary. Then with Joyce back to Tucson Apr7 and up the Oregon Coast. Back to Colorado in mid-June. TBD fall trip.

Lucy,,,,,,,,,,, ! get rid of those rocks! ) Lucy/Dezi in the Long Long Trailer

Sorry Marcy, couldn't resist, first thing I thought of.
LMAO , already been there! I had a "load" in my much oversized fanny pack plus piled about 8 inches on top. All held in place by my arm and hand. A few steps later I am down on my knees and can't get up out of the sand without dropping the rock pile....did I, NO WAY I kept telling Gary I need help..the standoff began. Being the stubborn woman I am we left with all my collected rocks :peace:

That's Milaca, Scott. Going to see some friends and do some mooch-docking... so I made it a custom stop.

What a great movie - and yes I have rocks at home - they don't call this the Granite State for nothing - feel free to dig up my yard anytime!
:siterock:

That is similar to the trip I had planned and booked until I had to cancel it due to the covid pandemic. Due to health issues I never did do it.

We're breaking our pattern and only doing smaller (1 month) trips. Stuff to do at house. Then we're thinking of circumnavigating the country in a multi year trip, where we fly home for the holiday months.

When you're in Billings, go see Custer's Battlefield if you like history...and haven't seen it of course.

Thanks. Been there. That stop is to take some friends meeting us in their RV across the Bear Tooth Highway and probably explore Red Lodge. We’ve been across that pass a few times; it never gets old.

Bear Tooth is an awesome drive, It's one that I could do over and over and never tire of the scenery and the occasional stops

Last time in Red Lodge unknowingly coincided with a large Harley rally. Loud at times but still fun and enjoyed the town and surroundings.

Have you been to the Oregon Coast Larry?
We are volunteering in some Oregon State Parks this year. We will be going to Washington in later June and attended the Washington GD Rally in Cashmere, WA (4th of July weekend).

We spent almost three weeks in Alberta, at Banff and Jasper. Four weeks after we left in June/July there was a major forest fire that destroyed a large portion of Jasper and burned hundreds of acres in that area. The campground we stayed at was destroyed.

We let Banff early one year because of smoke from the fires. Beside it being pretty smelly you couldn't see much because of the heavy smoke haze.

We were thinking of going to Jasper this year but since the fires we didn't think it would be worth it.
