Where's my 4G/WiFi router installation location?

All,

I'm a newby having just bought a new 2023 Momentum 320G in December. That said, I've been ALL OVER that camper installing options and doing some customization work. The Winegard Air + System is shown on the build sheet and I see what I believe is the antenna on the roof but I cannot locate the router wiring and installation location. I've seen posts describing a white plastic disc on the ceiling -- often with a WiFi notification label attached and I've seen some Solitudes with a hidden panel above the fireplace that contains it. I've checked and don't seem to have either of these.

In fact, I found the Winegard Air + manual and the WiFi notification sticker that's usually applied to let owners know the router wiring is behind the white disc, inside my owners packet. I've popped out several LED ceiling lights in the area of the antenna but cant see anything. I also popped out the Circuit Breaker Panel to look for wiring but no luck there either, although it was an eye opener. The wiring behind the panel was a bit of a disaster and there must be 5-gal of saw dust, insulation and plastic shavings back in that cubby. Wow, just looking back in there at the way the wires and PEX are routed is scary -- not to mention what appears to be my inverter completely covered in saw dust which can't be good for it. Let alone the potential fire risk. Oh well, that's a challenge for another time. I vacuumed up what I could and sealed up the panel.

I have a trip coming up and would really like to figure this out before we depart but so far, no one seems to have any idea where to look for it. Has anyone out there with a 320G found theirs? Any other known locations for the wiring/router?

All help will be appreciated. I'm out of ideas.

For me, the first stop would be GD Customer Service. Check in with them using your VIN and they should be able to tell you what is installed on your coach. If something is missing that should be there, they can help you get what you purchased.

On ours, the antenna was also installed but the wifi/4G router was an extra purchase item which is installed by replacing the white ceiling disc. Separate purchase allows users to install 4G Sim cards from the carrier of their choice. Easy test is to turn wifi on your phone and see if any router pops up.

All,

Thanks for your help and quick replies.
I know my post wasn't clear -- I was pretty frustrated when I wrote it. The issue was that I could not locate the router connection location -- that disc everyone talks about had been "missing".

Well, I'm embarrassed to say I found it -- or I should say, my wife found it. The disc was hiding in plain sight in the master bedroom right next to a puck light. I have no (good) excuse for not finding it the first 10 times I looked thru the camper for it. Except to say in my defense that the disc was not where I expected it to be (bedroom vs living area or near FP mantle), was much smaller than it appeared in previous post pictures (about 2.5" diameter" and was right next to a puck light which makes it a little hard to see. I know, pretty weak; at least my wife thought so. I guess sometimes you just need a second set of eyes.

So if you have a 2023 Momentum 5th wheel add the front bedroom ceiling near a puck light as a possible location for the 4G/WiFi/TV antenna wiring from the Winegard antenna. Now we need to select a gateway router to use this antenna, which I didn't want to do until I located the connections.

Thx again for your help and sorry for the false alarm.

Thank you Larry,

We are too first timers on our 320G (bought in November). Plannin our first trip in April. I haven't yet looked at hooking up a router via hotspot to this RV and your post will give me a good start.
