Went out to load my 303 for a trip to ala. Well the widow behind the theater seating is broken out, looks like a mower has thrown a rock in to it(they mowed today and was not broke yesterday). Dealer says 3 weeks to get a window. Any ideas where to look for someone to fix it?

If it were me, I'd try calling a glass shop to see if they could do it. It will be easier if it's a single pane window. They can cut one to fit.

I believe the windows are tempered glass and tempered glass cannot be cut. Glass companies have to order it from companies that are set up to do tempering so the three weeks can sometimes be a good delivery time. I would check with glass company re pricing but I suspect that a one off like u want will cost more because of radius corners and such. When GD is buying they are ordering multiple units so their cost will be far less.

Why not call GD and ask them for one from their stock supply? That way you'll know it'll fit. Just have to agree on a cost.

Grand Design will not sell to individuals . I have the dealer looking in to it for me. Thanks (trip canceled)

will awning tape or another product secure a broken window enough to get home from a trip? Never thought about what we would do if one was broken on a trip- guess it would be like a car window- seal it as good as possible and head down the road.
