Why is my TCL picture dark all of a sudden.

All the programs on my TCL TV are dark and blurry. The icons that show Live TV, Pluto, Paramount +, etc. all look fine until you turn on a program which shows dark and blurry. I played around with the settings and nothing helps. The brightness setting is as high as it goes. This is bad timing since I leave to go on an eight day RV trip on Tuesday. Any suggestions. I have time to go buy another TV, but I hate to do that since this one has to be under warranty. I don’t know if the dealership would help me on Monday exchanging it out. Thanks.

Sounds like the TV is having trouble with the apps (Paramount, pluto..etc). Is there a reset in the menu options, and run the menu option to check for a software update. The TV originally in my trailer was a one of the "Firetv" ones, and I didn't care for all the hoops and TV wanting me to sign up for several things to view programs. TV's are cheap enough I just replaced it for around $150 with a basic TV and donated the original one.

Do a factory reset - there is a small pin hole opening on the back your push and hold in for 10 to 20 seconds

Thanks everyone. I pushed the reset button on the back of the TV which I saw last night but wasn’t sure if that would’ve been the right thing to do. This morning I pushed it before i turned on the TV. The TV came on, flashed on and off a few times and then it seems to be working fine. Thanks for the help. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Yes if that function is available - mine froze up (and the OPs went dark) making this function not usable - so on the back of the TV is a pin hole with a factory reset button that can be used
