Well I think I know why GD moved that bedroom window on the 2015 units.
On our unit, the door to the bedroom would not latch. It apparently was like that from the factory - God only knows why the previous owner did not get it fixed. The striker plate on the door jambs was installed 5/8" too high. All is good now, I fixed it, but only after I repaired the bent hinges on the door.
The door smacks into the window treatments when you open the door too far. The contact point is so close to the hinge pivot points it creates excessive leverage on them and they bend, probably while the camper is traveling down the road with the door swinging back and forth on every curve or turn.
My next step is to install a floor mounted door stop to eliminate the contact to the window treatments.
My theory is the window was moved to allow the door to open all the way, and to prohibit the door knob from breaking the glass in the window.
