2022 Reflection 31MB-

Tanks and water lines are drained. It’s plugged in, heater on, (propane filled as needed). Tank heaters are NOT currently on as the tanks are all empty. Will we be okay from freezing?

We have a minimum of one trip per month planned throughout the winter. Traveling from Colorado to warmer states, hence why we don’t want to have to winterize after each trip.. Will we be okay to keep things drained, heat on etc., for the winter?

It will depend on just how cold it gets where the RV is stored. I would at least blow the water lines out. With the heat on and the lines blown out it should be OK.

Ditto on the “blow the lines out” comment. Blowing the lines gets most of the water out and many folks have found that sufficient for winterizing. If you also put a few ounces of antifreeze in each plumbing trap and toilet bowl then you should be able to dispense with using any heat at all. But if you don’t mind running the heater then it’s an extra safety precaution and no need to use antifreeze in the traps.

If you have a tankless water heater you might consider keeping the outside switch on so it will keep the water in it above freezing.
