Happy early new year to all.

We have a 2021 Imagine 2500RL. For the past 4 winters we have placed the camper in an outdoor storage lot where I have removed the battery, and placed on a trickle charger at home. This winter we have moved the trailer to indoor storage at the same facility. Our camper is relatively simple, with a lead acid battery, no solar, and no complex modifications. Wondering if I can/should:
A. Continue to trickle charge the battery at home.
B. Leave the battery (disconnected) in the box at the camper and set up trickle charge there as power is available in the storage building.
C. Leave the battery connected and hook up the trailer to shore power (15 amp) and let the on board systems keep the battery charged over the winter. Will have nothing running on power inside the camper - except maybe ultrasonic mouse repeller!

Many experienced owners on this list and request your thoughtful input on this question.

Thanks and Happy camping.

JMO of course, but I wouldn't rely on the WFCO units in most of these trailers to keep from overcharging the battery. I would use a battery maintainer, at the storage building. But that's just me.

I agree with Mr. Frood. If you have the OEM WFCO converter either change it out or go with a good battery maintainer. Check the battery every now and then.

Thanks to all for your insight. Will keep the battery at home on the maintainer for now. Will likely replace in the spring as it will be 5 years old. Part of my spring maintenance list.

Happy new year to all.
