Winterizing and Water Check Valve

I just attempted my first winterization with the nautilus system and found it very frustrating...once I finally got the pump to prime I was able to get antifreeze to come out of kitchen hot and cold, but nothing would come out of shower and bathroom sink...went outside to check on things and the antifreeze was coming out of the drain Valves in the wet bay...any ideas what would make this happen?

I have never had to do this but,,,, is it because the valves should be closed?

I checked and the valves and they were closed

If antifreeze was coming out of the drain valves, they were either not shut or they both failed.

Ok.. thanks...that's what I was thinking...they were definitely shut as i turned the valve to make sure and more antifreeze came out
