yup, I have noticed an uptick in new owners and new postings. Probably feeling out the forum before diving in. Welcome to all, great place to be!
Gosh when I think back 4 years ago we jumped back into RV ownership after several years out, felt like a pig on roller skates, now we're fulltime.

It is getting busier for sure. Good news. fwiw..... I've probably deleted at least 6 of those new users as spammers. I'll bet Marci, Rob, Dallas & Steph have deleted some too; maybe even Janet H is keeping an eye on things.

Another interesting observation - for the first time that I can ever remember outside of an organized gathering/rally, Nikki and I toured a couple of campgrounds this past weekend to see if our old haunts had done needed maintenance for larger trailers to safely access. In doing so, we noted the presence of Grand Design models were not the usual spotted representation but the actual majority of campers in the campgrounds! Nikki had fun counting them in one as we toured the loops and there were 37 Imagines and 58 Grand Designs overall in the campground with 160 trailer sites!

I noticed the same thing last year when we camped at Ives Run last fall. Every loop had more Grand Design models than I have ever seen at one time before. I did count them, but memory fades with time\age...

It is kind of mine blowing when you think the very first GD rally evolved here and we had 50 plus rigs show up. Today you can take a drive down the freeway and start counting.

The new members count is crazy!

This is all your fault for being so d*** helpful! No one but yourselves to blame.

;)

There is still a lot of questions to be answered. I was once asking; now I'm answering many of the questions. I've always been one to help others.

Happy campin' KEN

I read through this thread and I must say as one of the new guys this site has by far more valuable information about GD units than anywhere else. There are a lot of well informed and helpful members with a lot of valuable information to share. FB groups are like a free for all where the best part for me are the travel stories.

Thanks for helping me dive back in and feel comfortable after not having a camper for about 5 years!

Thanks for joining. AND participating!

I am struggling to keep up. I give myself one hour each morning to read emails, check news, pay bills, and check forums. This morning I had 19 pages of new posts. My hour is up and I have not been able to read half of it....

Dallas hasn't anybody told you, you're a moderator now, that's your life. You have to give the old one up. LOL!

I'm not even a moderator and I can't read half of the posts I want to. My wife says I need to find something else to do because this forum causes two things.
1. I'm on the computer too much on the forum (more lately).
2. I'm spending too much money on stuff for the RV.

That's kind of it, when I volunteered to moderate there were about 3 pages of new posts a day.

LOL, my wife calls it blogging, and accuses me of spending too much time on the computer. Fortunately we are in full blown fulltimer mode, in order for me to purchase something new for the RV I have to find something to throw out... that tends to cut down on the spending some..

Grand Design makes a great product at a fair price. Our second unit (Solitude 372) should be here the end of next month. We were so impressed with our first (Momentum 398), that we didn't even look at other units. It is not a surprise that sales have grown for GD. With the new owners looking for answers, it is not a shock the forum is growing!
