Anybody had their TT in Yosemite? If so how did it work out? I have a space reserved that should hold our 313rlts but I'm sure it will be tight.

We have camped in the park the last two years in a row in both the upper and lower pines campgrounds with another trip booked for the end of May. We also made a trip a few years back and stayed in North pines for a week. All with our old trailer. Yes it is tight in the campgrounds and the roads are lined with large rocks. It is also dry camping so ration your fresh water accordingly. The generator run rules are enforced. It is a stunningly beautiful place to stay. The hiking trails and waterfalls are amazing. What campground and site did you get?

We are in North Pines 128 for 8 nights in mid-April. Supposedly it is a double wide side which should help with maneuvering.

How did you get reservations at Yosemite? I have tried several times with multiple people on computers and have not been able to get anything.

We did the same with 3 specific sites. Going early in the season probably helped.

Summer months are nearly impossible with the off season become more popular.

NPS was happy in 97 after the floods to not restore 300 plus campsites. Now you can't get a reservation and the place is swamped with day visitors and cars filling up the valley. Last May we sat in a 3 hour traffic jam as NPS attempted to get all of the day travelers out of the valley. I average 5-6 visits a year some one day and others overnight. Avoid three day weekends if you can help it.
