Removing one couch and installing work station

Just bought 2021 Solitude 390RK-R and since it comes with two theater seats as well as one couch in each living room slide, we want to remove the starboard slide couch and put in a work station. We want more than just a counter there rather more like a desk with drawers and space for a printer etc. If y'all have done this type of mod we'd love to hear what you did, and whether it presented any problems we may not be thinking about.

My wife was doing some analysis work when we first went full time and wanted a place to work. It was all on the computer so a small desk with a good chair worked for her.

    Lessons learned.

There are two hitch pins under cloth that allow the couch to come apart so it's easier to get out the door.

The ugly spring and electrical wires are for the overhead disk lights. They are 12v.

There is no electrical outlet in the slide (well at least mine anyway). We did extension cords for a while. I rigged something else up thinking I would get around to installing a proper outlet close by, 3 years later it's still on my to do list.

This is what we did at the back of a 337:

And this what someone else did in their rig:

Do an advanced search with desk in the title and you will find a few more.

    Have fun with this!

We removed the rear couch on our Imagine 2950RL and installed this workstation.
Solid veneer desktop on two black steel "L-shaped" side legs and secured to the floor with black angles.
We've since added a 2-drawer file in the center.
I also added black power strips to the bottom of the legs on both sides (you can see the cables wrap around to the outlet below the side storage)
